Quick reminders -

If you follow me on Instagram/Stories - you know I've spent the last week deep in the engine of my old Honda Pilot - trying FIX IT. Well, adjust the valves so that it would stop knocking. KNOCKING.

It's not exactly a hard thing to do - but I did have to take it all apart and put it back together 3 times. THREE F*CKEN TIMES.

I do not recommend.

J/K - I DO recommend. Only because things aren't getting easier.

And if you happen to be of the kind that thinks or talks about resistance, or rebellion, or standing up for what's right - well - YOU KNOW no one is coming to save you. Not in the way we wish.

So being able to do what we ourselves can do - it's super important. It's something I've been thinking about a lot lately. A LOT. It's so hard when you're struggling to make it every month with the bills and the obligations and the billsssssss.

Cutting off this tangent before it gets w1ld I'll cut to it -

Having more real life tangible skills IS resistance, IS a pushback against capitalism.

Capitalism wants everything to be a service.

EVERYyyyyyyyTHIiiiiiiNG.

Things you can do on your own. Things we used to do. Convenience or experience. Convenience you pay for over learning how to do a thing.

... oh but this point of this email was to sell you my services...

For those times when you can't photograph your own wedding - Hire me.​

For those times you don't want to make your own kombvcha - buy some of mine.​

For those times you wanna learn how to change the oil in your car or do your own brakes - I'll show you. Sure why not.
